I designed this album cover as part of my Advertising and Design coursework at the University of Oklahoma. This project was especially meaningful to me, as it marked my first experience working with Adobe Photoshop. I was drawn to the level of creative freedom the platform allowed, enabling me to experiment with visual storytelling and composition.
For the concept, I chose to base the design on my favorite artist, Lizzy McAlpine, creating an album cover inspired by one of her most emotionally intense songs. I aimed to reflect both the dramatic tone of the music and her signature darker aesthetic through the visual elements. Throughout the design process, I relied heavily on blending and merging techniques to achieve a cohesive and atmospheric final product.

I designed this newspaper graphic for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City’s publication, Sooner Catholic, to promote and invite subscribers to an upcoming event. The objective was to create a visually compelling and on-brand design that would effectively capture audience attention and encourage engagement. I utilized Adobe Photoshop to brand key visual elements, while incorporating Canva to finalize the overall layout. Through this process, I strengthened my skills in layering techniques and developed a stronger understanding of invitation-focused visual communication. This project also provided valuable experience in maintaining cohesive branding within a publication setting.
I designed a second newspaper graphic for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City’s publication, Sooner Catholic, to promote and invite subscribers to an upcoming event, adapting the layout to a different size and format. Like the first design, I incorporated an original photograph that I captured, allowing me to further personalize the design and strengthen its visual impact. The objective remained to create a compelling, on-brand piece that would effectively capture audience attention and encourage engagement. I utilized Adobe Photoshop to add the logo to the glass, while using Canva to finalize the overall layout. This project enhanced my skills in photography integration, layering techniques, and reinforced my understanding of cohesive branding within a publication setting.

Podium Sign that was blown up and connected to the glass podium on the stage.
Dietary Restriction Cards that were printed in cardstock, cut to size, folded, and placed in front of all attendees that registered for different restrictions.
Silent Auction sticky note pads that were printed out and spread around the tables.
Cocktail Signs printed, framed, and placed around the bars set up around the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
These four design pieces were developed as part of a cohesive visual campaign for the Archbishop's Dinner, the most prestigious annual event hosted by the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma City. This formal charity taking place at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, event brings together donors and community members to raise funds in support of seminarians’ educational expenses, as well as to provide resources for their ongoing formation throughout the year. Each piece was carefully curated to maintain a consistent and elevated brand identity that reflected the significance and tone of the occasion. Through the development of these materials, I gained valuable experience in creating unified branding across multiple deliverables while working within an established organizational identity. This project was completed during my internship with the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, where I further strengthened my skills in event branding, visual communication, and design strategy.

These four slide decks were displayed throughout the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum as part of an event honoring seminarians and church officials. Each presentation was designed with a distinct purpose, while maintaining a cohesive visual identity aligned with the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma City’s established brand. To execute these designs, I utilized Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. This project strengthened my ability to create consistent branding across multiple formats while adapting to different communication goals. It also reinforced my understanding that strong branding communicates an organization’s values and identity visually, making authenticity and consistency essential to effective design.

I created this billboard concept as part of my Advertising and Design coursework at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on branding for Coca-Cola. The design integrates a cascading deck of cards to visually reinforce themes of chance, reward, and indulgence, aligning with the tagline and positioning the product as a winning choice. By pairing the iconic Coca-Cola bottle with the card imagery, I aimed to extend the brand’s identity in a way that feels both familiar and creatively refreshed. I used Adobe Photoshop along with other Adobe platforms to execute the composition, with a strong emphasis on layering, blending, and visual hierarchy. This project strengthened my understanding of how strategic visual elements can elevate branding by communicating a message instantly and cohesively without relying on extensive copy.
